Reusing and Recycling In The Cafeteria
During lunch time there are 2 recycling stations available for students to recycle paper lunch bags, milk cartoons, fruit cups, cans, bottles, and a whole bunch more! (Anything that you can recycle at home, you can recycle at school!)
Recycling is great, but remember that's it's even better to reuse! Thank you to all of the students who bring their lunches in reusable containers.

School REstore and Locker Clean Outs
Our school REstore is open every Tuesday and Thursday morning in the G/T resource room. All of the school supplies are FREE because they are salvaged during locker clean outs. Highlighters, post its, folders, paper and more.... it's all available in the REstore!
But remember.... the store relies upon you stocking it during locker cleanouts! So when you clean out your locker, be sure to look for the REstore boxes, and give us your unused school supplies as well as partially used composition books. Then, take the time to recycle everything that you can. Green Team members are always available to help you know which supplies can be recycled and which need to be thrown away. |
Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling In The Classrooms
In our classrooms, we try to reduce, reuse, and then recycle.
- First, teachers try to use less paper by adjusting margins and reducing font size.
- Second, each teacher has a reusable paper bin in his/her classroom. This bin has paper that is used on one side, but doesn't need to go into the recycling bin. Students are able to reuse the paper before it gets recycled.
- Third, we recycle what we can't reuse.
